Trippin' Socks: Sock Pattern

knitted socks against a blue sky

I have lost track of how many pairs of socks I’ve made in my 10 years of knitting. Some might say “way too many” and I don’t think that’s possible! But I have made enough that I can confidently whip up a pair sans pattern.

Throughout my sock knitting adventures I’ve established this pattern in my head, with an unconventional cuff and a simple yet pleasing texture that makes up 75% of my sock drawer contents. Now as I begin designing, I figured this would be a very fitting debut as it is my go-to whenever I want to make something quick and easy.

Socks on feet in the flowers

The socks in these photos was made with Emily C Gillies merino sock wool, 80% superwash and 20% nylon in colourway “Succexy”

This pattern is designed to fit a foot circumference of S/17.75 cm/7”, M/20.25cm/8”, L/22.75/9” measured around the widest part of your foot, just below your toes.

It's currently in the test knitting process, but you can sign up to my email newsletter to be the first to know when it gets published
